Doctrine and Covenants Activity Resources
Activity resources for kids and their families from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Voices of Knowledge based on the 2025 Come Follow Me instruction manual. This includes the following for each week of assigned study:
- Coloring Page
- Record Sheet (lined page for writing revelation and discussion points for families)
- Letter Practice / Emerging Writer friendly record page with coloring area
- Word Tracing (one word related to the topic for emerging writers to trace then practice writing)
There are additional record and blank emerging writer pages at the end of the PDF document (ex. you can print for teens to have their own record of inspiration while studying D&C).
The Quest of the Christmas Star
Story-based Adventure Instructional Framework for Homeschool or Private Instruction
Engage your student or children in a fun adventure-style Christmas-themed story.
Students will meet characters like Holly, Guardian of the Forest, and Eldrian the Frostwhisperer who will issue challenges for your learners to complete in order to restore the magical light of the Christmas star!
While we do provide some suggested learning activities in math, language arts, culture, animal science, and service, instructors will get to create their own learning activities tailored to learner needs. Each character issues a general "You'll need to complete these challenges to proceed" statement at the end of each video clip, and instructors provide the challenge learners will engage in!
There is a short 5-min video included to walk you through all the resources. This is a fun, engaging way to disguise some end-of-the-year review activities, or even mix-up household chore challenges.
*Christian-based ending about the light of Christ and Christmas season is included, though you can exclude the final video if you don't want that message shared.
